Change...

If you haven't noticed, fall is in the air. The leaves are starting change their colors and it, unfortunately is getting colder. (I'm obviously a warm weather person.)

One of my professors likes to say, "the more things change, the more they stay the same." [I really am fighting the urge not to cite that quote!] Now I don't know if this is true or not, but things are changing in our family. Lee will be SEVEN months old on election day. (VOTE -btw!) I can't believe it. Time is just flying by! One of my classmates asked me, "weren't you just pregnant last week?" to which I replied, "last week-seven months ago."

Speaking of Lee, Lee is speaking!!! We are so excited! It started off just as a squeal, now it's turned into "ah dada dada." It's so cute. I've tried getting him to say mama, but he continues on with "ah dada dada." As soon as I can figure out how to put a recording on here, you all can experience this joy.

Lee is also teething. He is being a champ and "growing" two teeth at once. We are so blessed because he is still a very happy baby even with the teething.

Mommy and Daddy are about to become first time property owners! We are so very excited. Don't worry, we aren't moving yet, and even when we do, we will still be in STL for a while. :)
Mommy is also taken up jogging. I use to run a lot, but pretty much had stopped since high school. It's slow going as it has been 6 years, but I am determined to make this into a fun habit.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

YAY for Father's Day! We enjoyed a great weekend in IL for Melissa and Lucas' wedding (Congrats!). Lee was able to meet more family members on Jesse's side. Here are some more updated pictures. Shave and haircut...

We have had a lot of visitors lately. Lee has met several people from our community group as well as his grandparents and even his great-grandma! He is still doing very well and is enjoying all of the love.

Lee had a little jaundice so we have a special bed for him.

We call it his tanning bed. With the help of his bed he is recovering well and shouldn't need his bed for much longer.

Update on expected baby time. Current plan is to induce Kristin on Thursday night. That being said the baby is set to arrive soon. The count down is on.

Moore Family!

Our family currently consists of Jesse, Kristin and Eli our puppy. Jesse and Kristin met in December of 1999 and starting dating the next month. After 3 years of dating, Jesse proposed to Kristin. Then 2 years later, we were married on July 30, 2005. Currently we are expecting our first child in the beginning of April.

About Jesse: Jesse is a recent graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Currently Jesse is working at Barnes Jewish Hospital with a diverse group of medicine patients.

About Kristin: Kristin is a recent graduate of the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelors degree in social work. Currently Kristin is attending Washington University in St. Louis where she is perusing a masters in social work. Kristin enjoys our church, school and spending time with friends. She is also excited about meeting Baby Moore!

About the baby: Baby Moore is our pride and joy, even without being born yet! We do not know the gender and Daddy and Mommy are anxiously awaiting the surprise. The baby is currently 37.5 weeks in utero with only 2.5 weeks until the big arrival..unless s/he decides to come early.

About Eli: Eli is a 3-year-old male silky terrier. Eli enjoys long walks, cuddling and chasing squirrels and rabbits. Eli doesn't take long to warm up to people, however he is just learning that other dogs are okay.
